Temporary exhibition "Silver and Salt. Salt Cellars from the Collection of the Cracow Saltworks Museum in Wieliczka"
See the collection of salt cellars, which is considered one of the most valuable in the world, with objects from the best workshops and manufacturers across Europe.
"Folk Heritage Through the Eyes of the Young"
This is the first participatory exhibition in the history of the Castle Museum in Sandomierz, created in collaboration with young people. We invite you to explore the world of ethnography.
35th Sandomierz Music Festival

European Archaeology Days 2026
As is tradition, the Castle Museum in Sandomierz has prepared a wide range of events for the European Archaeology Days. We invite you to a lecture and the opening of an archaeological exhibition on June 12th, as well as archaeological workshops on June 14th.
Children's Day at the Royal Castle
Children's Day is extended. From June 2nd to 7th, admission to the Museum (children aged 8-18): PLN 1. From June 2nd to 12th, new groups will pay PLN 1 per person for educational workshops.

Most Valuable Collections
Our collections include archaeological relics from the Sandomierz region, numismatic treasures, and works of Polish painting. Special emphasis is placed on collections related to the history of the city and region, as well as rich literary archives.
